The symposium on 10.07.2024 was dedicated to the following questions:

Wherever you look: Modern lawyers are confronted with IT issues on a massive scale. The current debates surrounding artificial intelligence are at best the tip of the iceberg. So how should law deal with the interface with IT?
In light of the new Erlangen degree course “Law and Computer Science”, the symposium will examine the relationship between law and computer science from three perspectives: What are the requirements for legal education?
What possibilities are there in research and what does the interaction of law and computer science mean in practice?
